Try a mask from Kerastase. I badly fried my hair from having an obsession with super blonde hair in the past and it was the only thing that helped me. My hair wouldn't have survived without it! You can just use any gentle shampoo if you don't want to folk out for one from the same range. Hope you find something that works for you :)

I know you want to grow it and not cut it, but of your hair is really dry and you have split ends, the best thing you can do is just at least get a trim to get the split ends off... I also use the redken anti snap serum and it works very well.

I actually love this stuff. I recently got a perm and had bleached it prior to it. My hair was horrible. I love the conditioning balm and it honestly has made a difference and it's not expensive. Plus I use coconut oil like twice a week.

Neither L'Oréal nor kerastase (both do animal testing, just so you know) nor morrocanoil will really help as they all contain heaps of silicones that will make your look better for a little but will long term only dry your hair out even more.

It did the opposite of drying out my hair thanks ;) I wouldn't lie about it and most certainly wouldn't have mentioned it if I didn't think it'd help..

Pantene conditioner really helps my hair! And Moroccan Oil after the shower.

Actually L'oreal has not dried my hair at all. It has also done the total opposite for me. I was skeptical at first but after using it for about a month my hair is a lot more manageable, shiny, and soft.

Sinead - Do you wash your hair every day? One of the simplest things you can do to avoid over-drying your hair is to wash it less often. I have dry hair/scalp...hardly produces any oil - I only wash my hair twice a week (I rotate with a regular shampoo & conditioner - occasionally using a deep masque and a deep cleansing conditioner). This suggestion may only help if you aren't exceptionally oily. Also, are you heat styling on a regular basis? That can be very drying also especially if you're not using protective products. I used to wash/blow dry/straighten EVERY DAY and once I cut back on all of that my hair basically fixed itself and I've been able to go from chin-length to down my back in length since.

Kerastese is the one. You will see the difference from other products if you start using it. I bleached my hair for a year long kerastese helped me a lot. My hair is long until my hips now.

Keep getting trims so it can grow out and the new healthy hair can replace the old damaged hair. You don't need a huge chop all at once, you can do it over time so your hair can stay long. Use avocado, banana, eggs or honey with olive oil at least once a week as a hair mask. Change over to sulfate free shampoos and look up the pro naturals hair care system and get everything you can from them. Their stuff helps a bunch.
