Something really simple because you don't want to over do it. Maybe a solid colored tank.

I love them! I would pair it with a bright solid pink top (like a looser fitting crop top) because pink is complimentary to blue and it would give variation on the fit (tight v. Loose). As for accessories: gladiator sandals, with a simple watch or a few bangles would be perfect :)

Also, in my opinion they look more tribal than sailor-inspired :)
