Line your waterline with white eyeliner. If you don't have white use a lighter color and brush a white eyeshadow on top of the color. Using a lot of mascara can clump and make your eyes look squinty. Try curling your lashes to open them ( there's a recent tutorial of curling lashes here) and apply a lengthening not volumizing mascara. hope this helps!

Try the different options to see which color may suit you, white can look harsh on people,I also say try a nude peachy color for a more wide eye subtle look.In the pic above^ the girl is wearing fake lashes on the bottom lash line as well as the top which gives the illusion of big eyes see what works because things look great on pics but in person it reflects another look :-) this is just from experience as a MUA try it all and see what looks best.
