So over the past few weeks I've come out in spots on my chin. This is usual as I always break out there but the past couple of weeks I've been getting them on my back. I had them all over my back like a year ago but I got put onto a different pill, I think it's called Yasmin, and it cleared it all up. However the past couple of weeks they've been creeping back. I was a cleaner (it was my last day a couple of days ago) and the weather has been really warm so I've been sweating quite a bit. I was wondering if it could be that as the weather got hotter a couple of weeks ago too. Is there anything I can do to get rid of them?

Make sure you always change out of sweaty clothes - don't keep them on for too long or you will get acne - that being said to treat the current acne use a hot towel on your back to soften up your pores and make it easier for acne medication to penetrate - then use whatever you use on your face to treat acne use it on the pimples on your back - or try a body acne wash - that should help.

Danielle, Paula's Choice makes a body spray that's easy and quick to apply, targeting acne. If you get hormonal acne, you might want to try pulling back and hormone-laden meat and dairy. Diane also gave some great advice. Breathable fabrics such as cotton or linen will help reduce body perspiration caused by fabric that can't easily allow air to pass through fibers. Wearing a cotton tank that's easy to change after a long day helps keep blouses from absorbing sweat from skin and trapping it. For sheets, I'd avoid percale. Look for all cotton options so that skin can breathe easier during sleeo, including your pillowcase. A clean pillowcase every 3rd day is always a great idea.

When you use skincare on either the body or the face, avoid potential clog poring ingredients and thick creams. Look for products free from waxes, mineral oil, coconut oil, heavy fragrance or drying alcohols. (These can often irritate broken skin.) If you are using a back brush, loofah, etc...you need to clean them thoroughly after each use and let them fully air dry. Plastic scrunchies in the shower are fun to lather, but they can irritate acne on the body. Your best bet is using a clean, all cotton washcloth every shower. Dermadoctor has a wonderful acne-targeting wash. Used with Paula's Body spray and her BHA lotion or gel for your chin, you should see a big change for the better. I'll link products below. Paula is offering 10% off purchases currently and has trial sizes and kits available if you are interested. Best of luck to you!

Thanks Rozberry, I've got a couple of stuff from Paula's choice and they're great. I'll have to give the spray a go too. I always seem to get spots around my chin with a few around my nose and forehead. Hardly any on my chin, I'm trying to get into a good skin care routine it's just about finding what works for my skin. Thanks for the links, I will definitely try them out! :)
