After I switched to a chemical exfoliation using the AHA treatment from Paula's choice my skin as never looked better! I will never go back to physical exfoliation!

I agree with Sabrina chemical exfoliants are the way to go - BHAs are good if you have oily blemish prone skin and AHAs are good if you have dry or more sensitive skin - they deep clean your pores and slough away dead skin cells gently but effectively

I prefer those types of exfoliants that claim to be like micro dermabrasion.
They have very small tough exfoliants that really exfoliate and they don't dissolve like other exfoliator me.
I believe boots has two that are like that but I was using the Dr Brandt one which is actually quite pricy but I've been meaning to get one of the boots ones but I couldn't find it in my area so I'd have to get it online.

Chemical exfoliants also work pretty good, they work on a deeper level but I haven't found any I liked personally but I have been using retin-a which works by speeding up the skins cells turnover or however it's put

If you're looking for an exfoliator with actual physical exfoliators, the green tea one from St. Ives is really nice. It's so so so gentle. The pink lemon & mandarin orange scrub from them is also really good.
However, I do agree with the other girls that chemical exfoliants are arguably the best. I use an AHA one and my blackheads are just...gone. I woke up the morning after using it and my nose was perfectly clear, not to mention my skin was visibly radiant (like isn't that the endgame with exfoliators?!). Visiting a dermatologist will probably benefit you a lot in deciding what's the very best for your skin :)

I love the microdelivery face Scrub from philosophy. I use the purity face wash to wash my makeup off then I use the microdelivery exfoliating facewash with my clarisonic. It works so well.

Thanks for all your answers dolls, what is the difference between chemical and psychical?

Physical exfoliation is a product with exfoliating beads in it and an chemical exfoliation is just like a liquid with exfoliating ingredients in it that does the exfoliation without the beads :)

Rachel, what's the name of the AHA one you use?

An AHA is glycolic acid so if you beauties are looking for one then just use something with glycolic acid as the active ingredient

Thanks so much for all the advice. I actually was at sephora last night and I saw an exfoliator for 100 points so I got it. I'm pretty sure its a chemical one. Ill post a picture of it. Let me know what you guys think of it... T.

Kate Somerville Exfolikate, I have extremely sensitive skin & most exfoliants make my skin dry red & irritated but this one makes my skin so smooth and I've noticed less texture
