Help!! I'm struggling with acne on the chest and nose area. I've tried everything I can think of. Some are black heads while some are just little skin colored bumps. Anytime they do clear up they leave a light brown mark where they were. The same thing happens with bug bites. Finally, I'm getting these little red bumps that refuse to go away no matter how much I exfoliate. (Picture is of razor bumps) Any suggestions?

For the acne try a salicylic acid spot treatment or 5% benzoyl peroxide - put it on the acne area once a day under your moisturizer - you can also try tea tree oil instead for a more natural remedy - for the scars that are left behind use a vitamin c serum with a BHA or AHA exfoliant - it will take time to heal but you should start seeing results after daily use of 2-4 weeks - for the razr burn - try getting a shaving cream that reduces razor burn like the aveeno shaving cream for sensitive skin - make sure you always moisturize the shaved area after shaving - and try waxing instead of shaving if you can - but if you have to shave don't go against the grain if the hairs are long - always shave in the direction of the hairs until they are very short - if your skin is too irritated after that then wait to shave again the next day before you go against the grain - if you shave then shave every day - the shorter the hairs are the less irritated the skin will be and less likely to get razor bumps - those are my tips that have worked for me - hopefully they work for you too :)
