Well it makes hair look beautiful but causes a lot of hair loss if you don't do protein treatment every month after that.

I'm not quite sure. We usually get it done in beauty parlours. Protein treatment protects hair from getting damaged.

I have done it twice. I have wavy hair and within a month the growing hair in the roots will be wavy and the rest of the hair will be pin straight. It starts looking awkward unless you get root touchup. Hair won't get damaged if you use the specific shampoo n conditioner. For me the growing out was the worst phase. I will never get my hair rebounded again.

Rebinding is the process of chemically straightening your hair. like perming is for curling. it will not damage your hair if it's done correctly. It also depends on how your hair quality is to begin with. If it's dry and damaged then do not get it done. If it's healthy then go for it. Make sure the place you are getting it done from uses good products coz there are a lot of shady ones in d market. your aftercare would be a shampoo and conditioner for straightened hair. it's better to use one from the brand you got it done with. You can get a touch up done in about 6 months time depending on your hair growth. L'Or?al, wella, Schwarzkoff are good brands to get it done.
