Hi Maxine- I'm on week 3 of my course. After about 10 days in my skin was already quite dry and flakey, with some redness. I tried various moisturizers, and even put aquaphor ointment on my face! A week or two ago I started a Josie Maran skincare routine. I use the cleansing oil followed by argan oil as a serum/moisturizer. I was very hesitant at first, as its an oil, but my skin got so dry I thought it'd be worth a try. The results are amazing... Dryness gone, and redness smoothed. I did a lot of research on these products and its an incredibly nourishing oil. My advice is to go to sephora and get a sample of both to try once the dryness from accutane kicks in. Good luck!

I have been on roaccutane 4 times. You will need eye drops for the dry eyes, Vaseline is good for when the inside of your nose starts to crack and bleed... Same goes for your lips, it's impossible to keep the moisturised. I wish you well with it. I would never recommend this product to anyone. But I know how it feels when you first get it and your excited that you've found something that 'might' work, you read reviews... even the bad ones, but ultimately you just want it so bad because you cant take the acne anymore, so you dont really listen to the bad reviews and keep your fingers crossed. hope it's ok for you x
