Hair dying help!!

Right, I had bleach blond hair I wanted to dye it Ashy blonde, I went out and brought a ash blonde hair box dye... And in result my hair turned grey-what I didn't research up enough on- anyways with a panic I put a colour stripper on my hair for 1 minute and it took the dark grey tones out of my hair. And I LOVE the colour of my hair, there's just one problem...ROOTS! My roots have started to come though and they are quite dark. How can I the same results dying my hair without it costing me £0000 and without going though that whole method again? Any ideas? This is my hair colour x
