Highlights Or Medium Auburn?

I really want to change my hair. I've dyed it medium auburn before and everyone liked it, but I kinda want highlights but I don't know if I can pull it off. what do you think?

I you were to get highlights I would dye your hair brown first, from personal experience if you want shine and more demention then go for highlight, you want a more softer look go for auburn. Either would look perfect.
