I would ice it first and then put concealer on it, depending on how big it is. Also what Frances said, you could wear pantie hose/tights.

I would try covering up with concealer or foundation or where then sheer skin coloured tights

Ice will reduce spread. You can always apply dermablend to cover..or something along those lines.
