I have thick curly hair, and after straightening my hair almost every day for two years, I finally started going natural about a year ago. However, all the straightening has done a pretty good amount of damage to my hair and the curls aren't necessarily the same as they use to be. My hair is also pretty dry, and I was wondering if y'all had any recommendations? I am currently using the Herbal Essences De-Damage repair shampoo (the purple swirly bottle) and conditioner, and as moisturizing as the shampoo is, it has made my hair feel thinner for some reason and I also would like to switch the something with more natural products in it. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!(:

Try co washing to help with the moisture.

Go to lush, or the lush website and get the sea salt shampoo and the curly wurly stuff. It's what my sister uses.

Untill your hair is heathy again I personally wouldn't recommend a sea salt spray since there pretty drying. I like anything from the brand "organix" yes with an x.

I have thick curly hair as well and went through a straight hair phase that left me hair dry and damaged. I'm going natural as well. I like to use trèsemme naturals and tame argon oil smoothing conditioner. They leave my hair so smooth and they are drugstore brand as well!

I have really thick curly hair and I use the Matrix Biolace Hydrating Shampoo and that leaves my hair so soft and smelling good. Also I use the Matrix Biolace Conditioning Balm and it is very conditioning. While it can't "undo" damage it really helps prevent it. Also using a penetrating oil, like argan oil, really helps keep your hair moisturized.

Coconut oil will help with your dry hair. also cut your split/broken ends if you have any. I use one from the sulfate free L'oreal Line. I love it! I also use Aussie 3 minute miracle :)
