No matter what I do my face just doesn't have a natural healthy glow it always looks faded and dead lol, I eat right, exercise, try and stay stress free but nothing seems to work. I don't wear makeup just lipstick here and there its really frustrating... any tips or suggestions for how to achieve a natural healthy glow x

Do you exfoliate? By no means is my skin flawless. But I exfoliate daily, so you always have a nice fresh layer of skin cells lol.

Your skin doesn't look bad at all! Sometimes its just the lightening.

I exfoliate twice a week I try and even it out in the week I find my skin is generally clear but you know that healthy look to the skin like you have in your picture I just feel like I look like I crawled from a rock because I look so like 2d lol sorry I don't know how to explain it lol x

Try gently exfoliating daily. I use an exfoliating brush every time I wash my face and a gentle face scrub every morning. Then I use a slightly more coarse scrub 1x a week. It's a diy lemon and sea salt scrub.

Again it's probably the lighting. Natural sunlight always brightens the face.

And do you use a toner?

I don't use toner atm I've had some bad experiences with toners in the past making me reluctant to try them.. do you think it would do me good?
btw I have super sensitive skin so I have to be soo careful about what I put on my face lol x

Yea, I'd stay away from lemons then. Lol But try witch hazel. That's what I use. It's super mild and you could just dilute it with water if it's still too much for your skin.

Is your skin dry? I find that Mine doesn't glow because it is dry. I do the same as nala, I use a face brush daily and scrub once a week with a sugar scrub. then I use a pretty heavy moisturizer. the cerave moisturizing cream. I also use bb cream on my light makeup days which helps give me a glow and a luminous foundation on makeup days to also help. my favorite is true match lumi by loreal

You do all the good internal things. Lol so I'd say try the witch hazel. And I'm sure you use a moisturizer lol

But then again I use african black soap by a company called dudu osun. That's my holy grail soap, I'm half way through my 2nd bar of it. I absolutely love that soap.

Hi Maria! You might also look into vitamin c serums. They can add a nice little glow. There are also some moisturizer out there that have a little luminescence to them--Aveeno Positively Radiant moisturizer for instance. It's not tinted, but it has a little reflective mica in it that will add a nice, natural sheen to your skin.

Definitely try the vitamin c! it doesn't need to be a serum it could be a moisturizer too. vitamin c is called the BLT of skin care because it lightens, brightens and tightens!
