I know it sounds disgusting but once a month I slather and cake my hair with mayo, wrap my hair and sleep with it over night. When I was it the next morning my hair comes out so soft smooth and shiny. Plus it's cheaper than dirt :) lol. Like I said it doesn't sound pleasant but don't count it out until you've tried it.

Pravanna has a great leave in conditioner ( doesn't weigh down the hair or make it oily )

I was pleasantly surprised by Amika Leave In Cream...I went to Empire Beauty looking for the Mixed Chicks Leave In (I'm half Irish, half Asian so parts of my hair are really fine and other sections are very coarse). They didn't have any in stock but the sales person recommended the Amika. It leaves my hair very soft and detangles very nicely. I still want to try the Mixed Chicks though.

@ Nicole C. Ive tried the mayo hair mask and it really does work . Also, you can take an avacado. Mash it up and add two table spoons of olive oil . Mix it up and massage it into your hair . Leave it in for 45 minutes . Then wash it out . Your hair will be moisturized shiny and healthy looking . Avocado is amazing for the hair !
