Sorry to hear that Donna! I remembering you mention it before on a thread. What are you using to treat it? I know with Melasma you have to have a really good regime so it won't spread. Ingredients in products are really important as well.

Using argan oil and aloa vera

Have you been using sunscreen religiously and watching your time out in direct sun light? Sun exposure is a huge trigger for it and if you're not protected with a spf of at least 40 you amp up the spreading. I'm so sorry you're going thru this as just like Yanin I remember you mentioning this in a prior post. Regardless of what's going on with your skin you are BEAUTIFUL regardless. The interior is far more priceless than the exterior. xxxx

I agree with Shelly. Spf is so so important! Argan oil unfortunately does not protect you from sun damage.

Neither Argan oil nor aloe will do a thing for melasma I have recommended you products numerous times for this ,it's not going to improve unless you use products that actually work on hyperpigmentation and even then it's not going to just disappear. Melasma is very stubborn it will also return if your not faithful to a skincare routine and stick to it,and a good foundation routine can cover it easily, try not to let it get you down hun

Traci has also recommended products to me for my melasma. Isomers vit c a and dark spot liberator and a mild lactic acid peel. These products have not improved the melasma but they have kept it from spreading even in the summer. Reapply SPF every two hours! I have found that dermablend, from ulta has covered very well. I am seeing a nutritionist now in order to regulate my hormones, they were all out of whack from being on birth control for too long. I would stop hormonal bc if you are on it and get your hormones tested.

Peach based corrector to help conceal it maybe try dermablend foundation. I have gotten a series of chemical peels and that has helped some. But I feel like makeup is a sure way to cover it up.

I am not familiar with any treatments for melasma but I do know that Emily Noel on YouTube just recently put up a video showing a great foundation that completely covered her melasma.

Ok hun try using roc retinol it's a drug store product a pea size amount for your whole face only at night its about 20 bucks and aveeno positively radiant spf daily moisturizer this will help a bit an keep it from getting any worse and definitely foundation and concealer they have a lot of decent drugstore foundations if you can't get your hands on dermablend
