Hey everyone! So my eyes are naturally green/hazel but they often change to either a grey blue or gold combination with maybe some green. It doesn't matter what I'm wearing or what makeup I do. Is this some type of medical thing or what?

Haha I am pretty sure your eyes don't actually change color lol 😂😂 I have the same green eyes they just reflect light differently when surrounded by different colors.

Don't worry, I have the same eye color and they change color too! My eyes have changed to almost completely blue, yellow, brown, and gray! It's not medical, it's perfectly normal :)

Your irises don't actually change their color. That's determined by genes. However, the pigment in your irises may look different depending on the light being reflected off them.

Mine do too. Mine can be a green blue, bright blue or a kind of grey blue. Doesn't matter what lighting or anything. I've even had people notice and point it out to me. So there is no metrical problems you have to worry about ^_^

Don't quote me on this, but I believe your eye color is determined by the strength of the pigment in that area; blue is weakest pigmentation, brown is strongest. But I could be wrong. Anyways.

*****Anyways, I agree with Shiro; your irises don't actually change color. It's the lighting. And wearing certain colors can bring out a shade in your eyes more; when I wear green, the green in my eyes look more vibrant. But, no, it's normal and it's nothing to worry about.

Oh gosh. No your eyes CAN't change color based on the weather or your mood but rather lighting or colors in your surroundings can enhance your eyes colors. I hate when people say that emotions change the color of their eyes. One girl swore her eyes turned red when she got angry and grey/blue when she was sad. She had brown eyes. Any way, no eyes CAN't.change color. And NO ONES eyes ever have.

Eye actually can change colour with age, it even says so on Google. My eyes were brown when I was born and they are now a greeny blue colour<3.
