I love the idea of no-makeup makeup or natural makeup, the kind where you are enhancing your features so you can't tell whether or not people are naturally thay gorgeous or if they are wearing makeup. But as I search through the beautylish photos of natural makeup, it is so very obvious that these people are wearing makeup, and a TON of it too. Quite similar to a few of my 'night out' looks to be honest. Has the idea of natural makeup changed? What are your guys' ideas of natural makeup?
Thanks for all input!
*I am not old and not a makeup artist, just a lover of makeup, so the amount of makeup is some professional secret, then I understand why natural makeup is obviously not natural. I'm just curious. Also important to be noted: although it probably seems like I don't like wearing makeup, I do, and sometimes a lot of it, I just try to not wear so much that if I showed up not wearing any makeup (which happens 50% of the time if there's no special occasions) I don't want to look tired or pale or sick or anything.

I honestly believe that the "no makeup makeup or natural makeup" is completely an opinion. many girls just do the bare minimum of what there comfortable with and Calling that their natural face. I mean, if I saw a girl wearing lots of contour and she said she was going natural for that day, I would be a little confused lol but its completely up to the person wearing the makeup. do what ever makes you feel comfortable and rock it. that's all I have to say for that (:

I agree with Halee and Jacqlyn. Everyone has different opinions on it.. usually it means very light makeup or it means neutral colors. Either or is natural in my opinion, but eye liner is where the whole natural look becomes not so natural in my opinion. Mascara and neutral colors or light makeup, filling in brows in a natural looking way, maybe a natural lip color is all natural to me. Eye liner draws the line. I basically repeated myself two or three different ways lol.

I think it's simply because a lot of people use the natural section for any NEUTRAL looks

To me a natural make up look is a coat or 2 of mascara & concealer or bb cream if needed
& just brushing down brows with a spoolie :p

^^ Could not have said it better than Brittany F. did. A brown smokey eye isn't natural but I've seen people call it that so many times! For me, natural is concealer, a super light foundation, matte highlight on my eyes, cream blush, mascara, and a MLBB lippie.
