First, sorry if this is in the wrong category but I'm not sure what to put this thread in!
This is kind of embarrassing for me to post, but its really started to be a huge problem for me to the point where I want to stop interacting with people.-.
I am not sure what this "condition" is called-or if it is even an condition but I have EXTREMELY sweaty hands ALL THE TIME. I have already been to a doctor to see if it was a medical thing, but she didn't even know what was wrong. I really really hate have such sweaty oily hands, I have sealed with it all my life. I thought for a second that it might be a hand cream or lotion that I have been using, so I stopped using lotion but they are still sweaty and oily!
I'm really frustrated to the point where I am insecure to even hand people things because I'm afraid my hands will touch theirs. Is there anything I can do? Because I am really lost about what to do.
Thanks loves:)

I was thinking that, but the lady I did go see is like top of the crop and she didn't have anybody to recommended. Should I see a dermatologist?

Honestly, perhaps it isn't a condition and maybe it's normal for you? The only thing I can think to say right now is not to worry, I'm sure you aren't the only girl dealing with this sortof problem so you shouldn't let it get you down! I'd go and get a second opinion from another doctor just to be sure. :)

Thank you Shaye:) I have been told by my mom that when she was about my age {13-14} that she had sweaty hands a lot like me so I thought that is was maybe genetics? Not only that but being a teenager we go through puberty...

Are there any hand creams/lotion that are oil free and not expensive? I haven't seen a lot that are oil free:(

That's a possibility :) and definitely, don't stress about it! I'd give it a couple more years when you're a little older and if it's still bothering you then, you could look into it a little more. :) and as for the hand creams, honestly I can't help there cause I'm dryyyy :( haha!

My brother has something similar to this called hypohydrosis I believe. Very sweaty hands and feet all the time. Check out drysol or something similar. It's a liquid thing you apply to your hands that'll help minimize sweat.

Jazzlyn I have it!
It's called hyperhydrosis and mine is concentrated on hands and feet
Short term fixes can be baby/foot powder or antiperspirant (yep on your hands/feet)
Long term is Botox
There is a website to raise awareness for this but I can't remember it atm

Definitely could be a medical issue or just runs in your genes. I used to have sweaty armpits alll the time while going through puberty and it was soooooo bad and embarrassing haahahah it bothered me so much! I definitely don't think it was normal the amount of sweat I had :O but I eventually out grew it and learned how to deal with it. I have bad anxiety as of it is so that definitely did not help on top of it. Just try not to think about it and relax. The more you think/stress about it the more youll sweat. Youll eventually grow out of it and learn to deal with it though so don't worry :)

I think it is a medical condition I knew someone who would sweat a lot from their hands face & armpits when they got even a little bit nervous & I mean sweat! I'm not sure if they went to the dr or dermatologist but they did have something to control it

Sounds like it could be hyperhidrosis. I personally found the hand powders to be pointless. They never work. As for the medical deodorants, they brought me out in a rash. Botox as mentioned above is also a more long term option. I personally feel the best way to deal with it is to just make it known to people. If I do have to shake hands or anything I just give a disclaimer that I'm a tad sweaty. Generally people don't care that much. Sweating is natural, so don't let it get you down. It's not something you can stop, you just have to accept it really.
