Ooh it does look red :( I personally would splash my face with cold water and not put any makeup on and not use any face wash unless it's super gentle like Cetaphil. You're probably just going to have to let your skin breath for a little bit because other products might make it worse :/

Thankyou girlies! I've got a cold flannel at hand to keep it cool and might have to go chop up some of the aloe in my garden 😘

I also agree with Alexis. Aloe can really help.

A green tea rinse can help a little bit, and some aloe vera gel.
I wouldn't risk putting anything on it for at least 24 hours... your skin is most likely very irritated and can increase the irritation ( which can actually lead to other issues).
Also spot test any remedy before slathering it all over your face.

I suggest you use sunburn cream/gel it works very nicely. I always do that whenever I get a rash or a burning feeling.

I would just leave it as it is for one day to see if it gets back to normal or maybe spritz some rose water to calm my skin down.

Thankyou for all your advice girlies! I went with cold water and aloe gel straight from a plant and it was gone by the morning. 😘
