I have tried mederma and bio oil for my stretch marks, and saw no results whatsoever. I am now trying strivectin and I think it is helping fade them!

If your marks are purple then that means they are new marks. take real good care of your skin and they will fade out fast. Stretch marks are from genetics and it means your skin has less elasticity in it. There for you get a mark every time you get a lil bit bigger. Everybody is different tho.

Brittany O is right, it's all in your genetics. Stretch marks are in fact scars, which by definition are permanent. Keep your skin hydrated (plenty of water) inside and out, I use Palmer's cocoa butter and bio oil I feel like those work well
