Just out of curiosity, did you go back to the salon to get your hair cut?

Everyone's hair grows at a different rate, just depends on your genetics. but to speed up the process, get trims regularly (about every 3 months), eat healthy, exercise, drink plenty of water, and avoid using heat and chemicals on your hair 😊

You should've gone back and demanded they cut it or style it your liking since you had already paid and weren't satisfied. For what they did, you could've done at home. Are you satisfied now?

I agree with Alexis. The only way to really grow your hair is to just make sure your hair is healthy and it will grow! Try not to use so much heat on your hair now so it will grow really healthy later!

Hair growth is based on genetics, the health of you & your hair. so the only way to promote growth is to keep yourself & your hair in good health.
Do not just go taking pills (including biotin). You can end up with side effects serious enough to put you in the hospital. always ask your doctor first.
Some tips to promote growth:
get trims regularly (split ends will go higher up the longer you wait & then you'll have to cut off more hair)
drink a lot of water
use as little heat as possible
always use a heat protectant, I recommend It's a 10
don't brush your hair while it's wet
do hot oil treatments (I use coconut oil)
use a deep conditioner (I use Aussie 3 minute miracle)
use hair masks (store bought or diy)
try a leave in conditioner
keep in mind that there are no miracle products or methods. good luck in growing your hair! :)

I'm still confused why you didn't go back and at least demand a refund, you paid them $50 to mess up your hair 😰

Having shorter hair is not the worst thing in the world lol lots of girls look gorgeous with short hair! Btw I just thought of this, maybe you should try ombre extentions, I've never tried them so I don't know if they look good or not but I like the idea of them

I'd go for a scalp massage. Do it every time you wash your hair, maybe with some essential oils, and massage away. It stimulates blood flow to your roots and it keeps your scalp healthy and clear!

Melz is right, nutrition plays a big role. If you aren't getting adequate nutrition from your diet, your body reserves the limited resources for vital functions and things like hair growth slow down or stop. Having a healthy, balanced diet means that your body has enough resources to function on all levels, including hair growth.
Staying hydrated is a big factor too. It doesn't have to be water (if you're like me and hate water) but make sure you're drinking consistently throughout the day. Be aware that some foods and beverages actually act as diuretics and can contribute to dehydration (coffee and black tea are notorious for this).
Do not take any kind of vitamin, supplement, or pill. This includes "hair, skin, and nail" vitamins, prenatal vitamins, and straight Biotin. Taking these supplements without a deficiency can cause a wide variety of side effects, including acne, menstrual problems, deficiency in other nutrients, and even renal failure. At best your body eliminates the excess by filtering it out (aka you just wasted your money by peeing the pills away). At worst you are hospitalized with very serious illness. Save your money, and leave the pills alone.
