That's a hormonal breakout area hun,and it may take longer to go away you still have to treat it as your would any other breakout cleanse with salicylic acid cleanser spot treat ,and moisturize ,you can spot treat with a salicylic ,benzoyl peroxide or tee tree spot treatment ,you can also try using a retinol serum to help speed up your cell turnover and keep breakouts at bay

What traci said! Also don't touch it/fiddle with that area! You will make it worse (it's so tempting though!)

If they are cystic bumps then I find that tea tree oil as a spot treatment helps me as well as the Mario badescu buffering lotion - you can also try spotting some of a sulfur mask and leaving it on the spots over night n wash off in the morning - also traci gives the best advice too :)

Looks like inflammatory acne, if you lean towards natural remedies I would recommend apple cider vinegar or witch hazel as a toner and clay masks. From my experience, benzoyl peroxide is pretty effective with this type of acne as well as any type of retinoid which can help reduce not only acne, but also wrinkles. good luck hun.

Taking a zinc supplement or eating more zinc rich foods will help.

Traci is right. If your look at facial mapping and the flow of nerve and blood vessels under the skin...it's correct in saying that it's more hormonal or related to your colon. Drink a lot of water. And since it's been there for so long I can assume it's a cystic acne spot which I get ALOT. I would recommend gentle scrubs and vicks (sounds weird) or tea tree oil.

Hormonal hun... that where woman typically break out during mentral, or menopause. Also stress, asctgat effects hormones. Not much to stop it from happening... but, you can treat.
You have several options. Treatments... go to estie, get a high frequency treatment, and a good steam with ozone. And enzyme (straight enzyme, no acid mix) will speed healing.
If they are inflammed, you need to bring it down. Cold packs are great for that.
Don't touch, or pick! It makes it worse, spreads bacteria, and last longer.
Spot treatments. It took me years to accept benzols as a safe, effective way to treat breakouts. They do work, amd fast... but, don't over use... if you get irritated, stop. Just a small amount is needed on each spot. Only at night, on cleansed, toned skin. At first, when adjusting, use every other night
Or
Murad, and this is the only murad product I'd ever recommend, has a clay mask for acne. Spot treat with thst, and sleep with it on. Avoid the rest of murads acne line... too aggressive.

Like everyone else has said, that's hormonal acne, which tend to last a bit longer than whiteheads. I recently found a really good way to shorten the length of hormonal breakout by using aloe gel after toner and before moisturizer. It calms the redness and minimize the pores (which tend to enlarge when the skin gets super oily during hormonal acne). Make sure the aloe gel is fully absorbed and dried before you apply moisturizer. Then after moisturizer, I use the Mario Badescu Drying Cream on the cystic acne. It's less drying than the Drying Lotion so it's better for sensitive skin.

Ugh I'm just getting over a hormonal breakout on my chin too. it's the worst! I brought them to a head with a warm compress and then used the Lush Mask of Magnaniminty. It really helps calm mine down and take away most of the redness. So far, this has been the best mask I've found for hormonal breakouts specifically, better than glamglow, origins and sheet masks, which I love for other areas. Everyone's skin is different though. Just make sure not to over dry out the area with a ton of products if you get impatient waiting for it to clear up!
