I have dry skin and use Bourjois healthy mix serum foundation,it does not cling to my dry patches but since you have combo skin I don't know if it'll work for you as its serum! Ask for a sample of the original healthy mix at sephora (if Bourjois is available there) maybe :)

So I had this issue and a used a charcoal mask, the next day my skin was even and sift all around. Throwing that out there for you.

Are you using a primer? I find that using a primer (especially a silicone-based one) helps with my dry patches so my foundation doesn't stick to them. In the winter when my skin was super dry, I was using Neutrogena Healthy Skin foundation daily, and it never clung to my dry areas. I'm not sure how it would work for someone with oily skin, but it's worth a shot :)
