If you are into YouTube I believe missglamorazzi recently did a how o beach themed party and along with it did a makeup look she would wear. I personally really like it but I don't know if it's what you are looking for.

As a Hawaiian hula dancer, I can say that red lips isn't true to the cosmetic culture of Hawaii BUT it looks great none the less so I say if you love the stereotype poster hula girl then there's nothing wrong with that!
True to Hawaiian cosmetic culture just get bronzed for the gods! Haha! Bronzed, natural or lightly pinked lips, wings are big in modern Hawaii but thin and short. Golden or earthy tones are typical. Nude lips that are slightly lighter than your skin, lined with a darker brown is also true to the culture. Honey Love it Kinda Sexy by MAC are good examples of a Hawaiian lip color.

Thank you Stephanie for bringing me more down to earth, again I'm sorry about that stereotype, I meant no offense with it, I simply liked the look.

No offense taken!! That's what the rest of the world thinks of when someone says Hawaiian and that's okay. It's not true to reality but it's okay that people like to think that it is. It's a beautiful look! It was a big look in the 50s and 60s for Hawaiian tour guides and such but in today's Hawaii it's more about looking like a natural Hawaiian goddess. Modern Hawaiian eyes are sometimes inspired by island flowers like plumeria, bird of paradise, or hibiscus colors. Of course, much of Hawaii is kind of white washed so we follow the same trends as any other community in America but at hula or Hawaiian events, it's more about the natural earthy looks and island inspired makeup. Each island has it's own color and flower so if you're from a particular island, you might rep that color on your eyes or lips.

Definitely agree with Stephanie I was raised in hawai'I for 10 years and most women are super tan n wear super simple makeup - usually when we dress for dancing at lu'aus we wear our hair naturally wavy and/or most true island girls have that link to their hair so long flowy waves or curls for hair and then bronzey face with simple eyes and a neutral pink lip would be most appropriate.
