When you put your hair in a braid every night it helps your hair grow That's what my hair person told me.

Brushing helps a lot, it stimulates the growth.. Eating healthy, the trick to getting it really long is eating broccoli, I use to eat it a lot when I was younger and it was past my waist.. Braiding also helps a lot I noticed

Make sure to keep your ends very hydrated too.

Just keep your hair healthy there isn't a way to speed up your hair growth.
Also if you don't need to don't use heat.

I've heard bad things about the supplements so I honestly recommend extensions if you REALLY want longer hair. I would get them done professionally! And also cut off any split ends and forget heat for summer!

Hair in general grow faster than we think. The thing that keep it's not long is breakage of the ends. One thing that helps prevent that is do not brush you hair when it's wet. Use a wide toothed comb and if you can help it just wait till it's dry to brush or comb. Also ask your stylist for suggestions on good shampoos and conditioners for protecting your hair.

One more thing: be careful with any hairstyles that are too tight because that can cause breakage. (ponytails, braids) also avoid ponytails completely when hair is wet since the hair expands when dry so it will break.

The easiest way to make your hair grow is to keep it healthy. Don't mistake me, the rate at which your hair grows is determined by genetics, and nothing you can do will make your hair grow faster than it naturally would at its healthiest.
First, trim any split ends. If you don't, they will keep splitting up the shaft and ruin even more of your hair. That means that when you do finally cut your hair, you'll have to cut off even more of it to get rid of the splits
Second, invest in a sulfate and sodium chloride free shampoo and conditioner (I like the L'oreal EverStrong, as well as Pureology, because my hair is constantly died and Pureology is great for maintaining that. Occasionally, I use the Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Shampoo, which is neither sulfate free nor for dyed hair, but it makes my hair feel SO clean, and that's not the worst thing once in a while), and a hair mask or deep conditioner (I like Macadamia Deep Repair Masque and the L'oreal Power Moisture Mask). In the shower, wash your hair first thing, shampoo only the roots and condition from your ears down. After that, apply your mask, focusing on the ends of your hair. Finger comb until you don't feel any knots, and then put your hair in a bun. Leave it that way for the rest of your shower, washing it out should be the last thing you do. I wash my hair around 3 times a week (with dry hair I can get away with it) and do the hair mask every time. If you need to wash your hair more than that, reduce your hair mask usage to 3 times :) make sure you're finger combing your hair in the shower so that you don't have to brush it, because brushing it can break it off like heck.
Third, in terms of heat protectors, I like the Tressemme and It's a 10 Leave in Plus Keratin. However, I advise you to cut out heat styling as much as possible (It's not the worst thing as long as you take care of your hair, so if you can't I wouldn't worry).
That's my hair routine, my entire head is bleached and it is just as healthy as it was before I dyed it.

I would get a weave sew in if I were you. Not only will it solve your problem instantly (well depends on how long you keep them in for) but it helps greatly in the long run.
When the weave is in, your hair is on a break from heat and weather damage AND the slight pressure from the thread on your hair, helps your hair to grow faster.
The only thing I would say is to go for a partial weave, rather than a full one, because this looks more natural. Also, please please please deep condition your hair before getting the install, or you could suffer extreme breakage instead of extreme hair growth and strengthening! xx
