My cousin has short hair like yours. She's in her 30s and very classy. Her hair is ALWAYS done. What she does is she takes her bangs and braids them into separate braids and connect them or sometimes just one and then pins them down behind her ear. This look is very cute, especially with clips or bows.

When my hair was that length I would part my hair down the middle including bangs and braid my bangs and pin them back and loosely curl my hair.

You can just put some styling wax in it and mess it up a little (that's what I did as I found it was just to straight and a little boring on me; I needed something quick and this would just add that edge to it)
