I'm growing my hair too. My first tip is don't dye it and if you must use henna. I color my hair with it. It makes my hair so healthy and shiny, second is I take vitamins that are essential for hair growth, vitamin a, vitamin e, biotin, and b-12. Hope this helps:)

Nooo to henna. It makes a coating on ur hair that can make it brittle and reacts badly with professional hair color if u ever wanted to make a change. I suggest biotin vitamin supplements and leave in conditioner to protect ur ends and keep them moisturizes.

I use Hairfinity Vitamins, biotin 10,000 mcg, horsetail (silica), B vitamin Complex, MSM vitamin. Make sure to trim your ends as needed, coconut oil is great for saturating your ends. Deep condition every other week, and use a protein treatment in the week when you're not deep conditioning. Stay hydrated, drink at least 64 ounces of water a day very important. I hope this helps.

Yea, if you want to ever color your hair with box or professional products I'd seriously say no to henna. It reacts horribly with chemicals, causing your hair to smoke or burn or turn weird colors. But , I'd agree with try not to color it while you're in the growing out process, use heat sparingly and take Hair Skin and nail vitamins which you can find at any drugstore! They have all the vitamins listed above (I'm currently trying them since I'm growing my hair out)
