I have acne scars, some slight hyperpigmentation, large pores and oily skin. I don't have many breakouts, probably a couple when it's that time of the month. I've been looking for something to minimize my stubborn pores. So, do you think the Clarisonic would be good for me? I don't wanna spend so much on a machine that I won't like. Any help will be appreciated! ;)

I never tried it, but I read so much about it. I was about to buy it but I learned that it can make your skin more dry than usual. I think it really depends on your skin type and how your skin will react to it. Again, I never tried it. :)

Hey lovely
I'm teresa I work at ulta. To get an idea of the clairsonic try the ulta brand one. They are inexpensive.

Thank you! I guess I won't be able to use it during the winters, but I think it could work for me in the summers since I have oily skin and if it helps control the oil on the skin, then it is coming home with me! Lol

For oily skin types the clarisonic is worth it.
The Ulta Dual Action Cleansing system is NOT the same technology, that is just a manual brush that spins for you nor does it any transmit any sonic pulsations to go past the most outer layer of the skin.

I have the clarasonic Mia two and it's amazing. I luckily got it for Christmas from my boyfriend but I was going to go buy it on Boxing Day anyways. It has made me skin look the best it's ever been and I find it gentle on my skin. I think it's worth it.

Thank you kitty lol I was going to say the same thing! There is no other device out there except maybe the luna but nothing else can compare to the Clarisonic's sonic pulses it gives off. Now using another cheaper brush is still better than nothing but the Clarisonic is 1000 times better. A lot of people don't like the Clarisonic (crazy lol) but you have to make sure you get the correct brush for your skin type (I use the delicate for my dry sensitive skin) and you only barely sat on skin (don't dig) and cleanse with circular motions. I also only use mine at night and I take my makeup off before using so I get a deep clean vs it just trying to remove my makeup. It is expensive but worth it to me, I can always tell a hugeeeeee difference when I forget to use it.

As for acne marks and hyperpigmintation, I mix about two drop of vitamin e oil into my moisturizer and it has faded my acne marks that I had for a couple of years. I also don't use the Clarisonic washes,
and keep in mind that you need to replace the brush heads every three months (I usually go a little longer and stick the brush head in the dishwasher to disinfect it).

I love the Clarisonic so much! At first, I was so disappointed because I was getting more breakouts than usual. After about 2 weeks, all breakouts cleared up and now I can barely remember the last acne spot I had. I am so pleased with the product and I highly recommend it.

I have the mia 2 and I really like it :) I have less breakouts and when I do get a pimple, it is small and gone quickly.

No it's not worth the money. Try a cheaper one. I have one from Mary Kay and I loveeeeeee it! It comes with two different heads and it's only $50(:

If you decide to get one, which I am from my company...my company sells them and always has at least a 10 % sale on them. We're authorized retailers of the clarisonic and other skincare brands. www.astonishingskincare.com

I used to have horrible skin. I broke out all the, time, my skintone was uneven, and I had acne scars. At a trip to Macy's, my mom bought me a clairisonic on a whim and it WORKED WONDERS!! It cleared my acne, helped improve skintone and made my skin feel firm and fresh. It is my beauty must have.
