I'm Taking Part in a Musical About Glenn Miller. We have no make up Artist so I have to do my hair and make up by my Self. Make up is no Problem but I don't know what to do with my hair. Any ideas/instructions for hairstyles in the years 1930-1945?

If I were you, I would look up pin curl and finger waves tutorials. That last pic is Veronica Lake. Here's a hair tutorial on that: http://youtu.be/Ya4DetxwInA

Pin curls are definitely the way to go. Bear in mind that if you are playing a role from 1939 onwards that ww2 had started and many women had to to work in factories and hair long got in the way so updos became very fashionable for the working woman (victory roll withe hair gathered into a twist or a bun at the back) At this time you would really only wear your hair down if you were very rich and therefore didn't have to work or if you were a movie star or somthing. However 1930 to 1938 marcel waves and pincurls were very popular.
