If I use purple shampoo on my hair what colour will it be?

I don't think it will change unless the shampoo says it changes your hair color.

As far as I know it's just to get rid of brassiness or orange in the blonde hair. so I don't think it'll do anything.

It will help to take out the warm tones (yellow & orange) and leave the lighter ends more of an ash blond, but bear in mind that it needs to be a really deep purple colour and you may have to leave it in for a few minutes to get the desired results.
