I think what your thinking of is a Tylenol liquid gel which you shouldn't put all over your face as that would be too drying and harsh but you could use it as a spot treatment.

Advil liquid gels are used by makeup artist on set to get rid of virtually all swelling of acne, but it is a quick fix and does not heal the acne. I would recommend tea tree oil on it. It depends on your skin so you will have to test stuff out to see what works for you but the aspirin mask did not work for me :( hopefully you find something that helps! Good luck xoxo.
