Can I exfoliate with just sugar and water? I don't have very many things to use like honey or brown sugar all I have is salt sugar and pepper lol.

You don't have baking soda? You can use sugar, I have in the past, but I like the way baking soda works better. Use very little water, not too much to start and slowly add more, to keep it from feel like the sugar is disolving too fast.

Coconut oil and white granulated sugar mixed together seems to be working so well on my body & face. I used to use brown sugar but its a little to delicate for me to feel any results. however if your skin is a little more prone to irritation I'd go with brown sugar

Honestly, I'm going off of what you said you have but salt with a little bit of warm water works wonders (exfoliates and disinfects) or just plain, dry sugar (only exfoliated) :)

Sugar and oil is good option :) sugar will gently exfoliate while oil will moisturise skin without clogging pores.

Can I use vegetable oil? I don't have olive oil... I really need to up my ingredients lol

You are going to want to avoid mixing sugar and water (your sugar will want to dissolve). I would go for an oil base. Vegetable oil will work fine, but if you up the quality of the oil (like extra virgin olive oil) you wil definitely see benefits. The problem with veg or corn oil is that it has a low oleic content. This means its a greasy oil and may cause break-outs. Olive oil has a high oleic content and is a "drier" oil. This will help treat acne breakouts.

The molecules in olive oil are too big too penetrate your pores so won't clog your skin and can.be.left on, if you choose to use a vegetable oil make sure you remove scrub with warm water when finished and use a cleanser to remove any last traces.
