About to go buy some coconut or caster oil for my hair and want to know how to use it and if they can be used for both a hot oil treatment and a hair growth vitamin. :)

You can try doing hot oil treatments! Add a little leave in conditioner then Just heat the oil up, fifteen seconds and coat your hair, then put a shower cap on , wait fifteen minutes, and then wash out! You can use coconut oil to seal in moisture after you apply your leave in , for the day, and then wash out next wash day, and it'll keep your hair soft!

Oh ok thanks does it help you're hair grow?

I'm not absolutely sure about that, but it does help your hair stay moisturized, and moisture is something you need to have healthy hair growth.

I love Aussie moist deep conditioner and regular conditioner, and also the cantu Shea butter leave in is fantastic!

For my hair I use it as a sealant. After I apply my leave-in conditioner, followed by hair butter I then apply a quarter size amount on my hair. Focusing mainly on my ends as its often drier than the rest of my hair. Doing this method, at least for me with curly hair, allows me to maintain frizz free curls for three days without loading my hair up with additional products...especially important now with such cold dry weather.

I have been using coconut oil in my hair all my life :). it moistens the hair. I just rub and massage my hair before sleep. then next day wash it off like I do normally. my hair is a bit dry, regularly application of coconut oil has helped fight the dryness :) specially during winters...!
