Why not? It is more of a dip dye I know but I think it looks a bit weird on dark hair from high up.

Ombre doesn't have to be high up. but I think it's because your hair at the bottom is only one shade. ombre is like 2 or more shades of lightening. I'm not a fan of the drastic color change. I like it more gradual.

Ombré is 2 things: one is gradual, meaning it subtly shifts from dark to light, and two is a 1-2 shade color range. It's not ombré if it's a straight line across the end of your hair, or if it's noticeably blonde. Ombré is just supposed to be very subtle and mimic what the sun does to your hair naturally. That's all. I'm just particular about calling things something they're not :)

It's not because its a dip die, the blonde doesn't fade into brown, its blonde and brown.

There's dramatic ombre and subtle ombre. This is beautiful and subtle where mine is more dramatic. However, now it has a gradation in it since I lightened it again. Your hair looks pretty though. :)
