Avoid making masks that use baking soda, lemons and sugar. these actually alter your skin for the worse. used occasionally they arent so bad but if used regularly they can cause your skin to lose its ability to retain moisture. focus and clay masks for spot treatment on pimples (they draw out the oils) and get yourself an exfoliator that has glycolic acid rather then silica (gritty stuff in some scrubs). lactic acid is good for that too so yogurt, milk, honey and argan oils are great for the face. you can make a mask with 1/2 Tbsp of honey, 1 Tbsp yogurt plain and 1tsp of mashed cucumber for a mask that moisturizes, reduces oil and acne, brightens, tightens, soothes and softens your skin. just apply it and leave on for like 10 mins.
