I am having the same problem! But anyways I would steam your face by boiling water wait a few minutes and then use a towel by putting it over you to steam. Make sure you wash your face before so it can really open your pores. And then after steaming for 10ish min apply a mask, The Body Shop has great ones of I like Queen Helene's Mask. Wash off mask and use a good cleanser. As for blemishes I apply advil liquid gels and covering with a band aid at night, it really helps reduce the swelling and redness. The Body Shop (ulta) has good cleansers and if you have a Lush nearby I would go there and try some of their products, I love grease lightning for a spot treatment.

Along with what Lisa said about steaming your face, you can also add a couple drops of tea tree oil as an added acne treatment booster :)

A lot of the above is great!! make sure you stay moisturizer too!! under-moisturizing can also cause your skin to break out..and adding stress.. yikes! :) hope you can relax tho!! xox

Avoid making masks that use baking soda, lemons and sugar. these actually alter your skin for the worse. used occasionally they arent so bad but if used regularly they can cause your skin to lose its ability to retain moisture. focus on clay masks for spot treatment on pimples (they draw out the oils) and get yourself an exfoliator that has glycolic acid or retinol rather then silica (gritty stuff in some scrubs). lactic acid is good too so yogurt, milk, honey and argan oils are great for the face. you can make a mask with 1/2 Tbsp of honey, 1 Tbsp yogurt plain and 1tsp of mashed cucumber for a mask that moisturizes, reduces oil and acne, brightens, tightens, soothes and softens your skin. just apply it and leave on for like 10 mins. instead of steaming you can just place a hot moist towel on your face for a bit to soften the skin and make your pores more willing to get a good cleaning then exfoliate, clay mask for spot treatments, regular face wash then the hydrating mask with the honey. now thats a good spa day after a tough week!
