I'm looking to switch up my foundation. I am currently using Tarte Amazonian Clay (which I love, but the color ranges seem to make my face look pale).
I have medium (with yellow undertones) skin. Tans easily with no burning.
I'm 38, so some visible signs of aging. I have combination skin with an oily T zone and I'm prone to breakouts.
I like natural/matte finishes, medium to full coverage, long lasting, and lightweight. Some brands that I have already tried but didn't like: Smashbox, Bare Minerals, Benefit. Benefit being the best, but I had to really cake it on!
Any opinions on Mac, Bobby Brown, MUFE?

I am currently using MAC Studio Fix foundation and I like the consistency of the product. It matches my skin tone perfectly- plus if you have a pro discount its a benefit :) I first dab it on my face with my MAC blending sponge and then use a dome/dense/ buffer MAC brush to blend it out. Hope this helps you!

I swear by MUFE's line of foundations. I am also with combination with a lean towards oily skin. I love the HD foundation by them although I would describe it as a natural finish with Light-Medium Coverage. MUFE's Mat Velvet sounds like what you're looking for. It's really good too and offers Medium to Full Coverage with a matte finish that is more natural and clean as opposed to the parched and cakey flat finish that other matte foundations offer. Duo Mat is also a good mattifying and medium-full coverage one if you like powdered foundation. None of their products have EVER caused me to break out in any way so you shouldn't have to worry about that. Plus they all come in so many different shades and undertones so you are guaranteed to find something that matches you exactly. = P

I had such a hard time finding a right shade for me since I am darker toned. As of last week, I finally splurged and tried MAC. It was the best decision I ever made. I use to use makeup forever's HD foundation and since it is a stage makeup it is extremely heavy and their shade was off. Although MAC is a stage makeup, it feels WAY lighter than the makeup forever. I use the match master and it i the best I have EVER come across in regards to foundation! So for all the dark skinned ladies who read this, go into MAC and see what try can do. I would assume the lighter tones are just the same in quality as well.
