Yeah don't ever use foundation as primer because it will eventually wipe off...i like Mac paint pot in painterly (I don't have oily eyelids) but my friend swears by urban decay and shadow insurance

Kat Von d's high voltage primer. It's a concealer and a primer in one, I love it ! Especially the grey colored one. Nude is amazing as well however :)

If you are looking for a cheaper alternative I highly recommend 'ESSENCE' i <3 stage. Its approx €3.50 and I find it every bit as good as a lot of high end primers. Has a thick consistency which really covers any little veins etc on the lid and in turn only a small amount is needed. It's only downfall is that it doesn't intensify pigment like UD primer potion but for the price I think it is fantastic.

I don't care for the elf one, I found it gloppy and messy and non lasting. I swear by the Urban Decay potion though, that stuff is amazing.
