Baking soda should just not be a beauty product.

Why would anyone use braking soda on their face! omgosh. I use it to clean too! I always thought baking soda was too harsh for a beauty product

Ok so, first of all, baking soda is just an antibacterial. You can use it in diy shampoo or in facial masks (even for whitening teeths) but in small proportions, it's bad to put it all by itself! That's why nopoo isn't a good method! Regular anti dandruff shampoo is more aggressive than baking soda btw ;)

Following! I've been using this anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner and it has made my hair more frizzy, not less! Will this honey shampoo work with hair that has split ends? My hair has had split ends for awhile, but I don't have enough money to head to the salon yet to get them cut and I can't cut them myself since my hair is curly/wavy and I can't pinpoint exactly where they are. Also, can you use any conditioner with the shampoo? Or do you have a good DIY conditioner too? (I'll also try good store conditioner recommendations!) c: I'm really excited to try this!

P.S. - what do you mean by essential oil? And rinsing with vinegar? I know, I have a blank head~! But I'd love to hear deets/details.

I have been wanting to do the honey no poo method for awhile but raw honey is just so expensive here. And thank you for clearing this up for everyone because I saw a post the other day with someone doing the no poo method and was using baking soda and I was like no no no that's terrible for your hair.

Great call Erin.
What people do not realize is that this no-poo method is actually far worse than any shampoo will be on their hair. There are shampoo's out on the market that are gentle, inexpensive, and do not deteriorate the health of your hair.
Baking soda does not have the appropriate PH for hair & skin, which is vital when it comes to keeping both healthy. Not even a dentist worth her penny will concur with the idea of brushing your teeth with Baking soda and other crazy ingredients.
I personally do not care how 'anti-bacterial' it is. What is the point of using something just to get one benefit and have 25 cons come with it when there are safer means?
People have this hype now a days that 'all natural is better', yet I doubt they will rub poison ivy on their faces for a 'natural blush'.

Please please please patch test raw honey on your arm BEFORE you slather it all over your hair/face/whatever. Natural honey contains both pollen and royal jelly, which can cause some violent allergic reactions.

Ok, let me get this straight, you mix equal amounts of honey and water w/ essential oils? Sorry, I'm having a brain fart 😳

It will eventually change the color of your hair if you keep using honey..
