also, maybe you shouldn't try this but I'm just throwing it out there.. I'd been trying really expensive like 50$ shampoo and conditioner sets that were made to extremely moisturise thinking my scalp was dry, and it didn't help at all but actually made it much worse. I tried a gentle build-up removing shampoo and no conditioner and it improved at least 40% right away. I'm sure your dr already told you way more useful advice than I ever could though.. and I guess I should be going too if we have the same thing.
