So like most Asian girls, i'm not blessed with big eyes. Are there any tips or tricks to make them look larger using makeup?

You can also put a highlight in the inner corners and inner lid. That makes your eyes look wider. And also if you use your blending eye brush to make your crease out farther on the sides...it's hard for me to explain what I am trying to describe. But just don't use lots of dark colors on your lid, especially on the inner lid or it makes your eyes look much smaller.

Winged eyeliner helps my eye look a bit bigger/longer:) and she's right, never put darker colors on the inner part of the eye, it makes it so small! And if you use a dark liner under your eye, only go about half way:)

If you find that white is too harsh looking, try a very light pink or yellow. I know yellow sounds weird to use by your eye, but that's what I use and it really helps to make me look more awake. And like Raven and Courtney O. said, use light colors near the inner part of your eye and then get darker as you go out.

I always thought mascara does wonders to open up those eyes. Liners + humidity = major mess

Line your eyes with a Khol black pencil. Line top lashes all the way thinner in the inner corner and gradual fades out thicker and then line the bottom by doing it only half way, so like the middle of your pupil. Blend a little so it's not too much of a harsh end and place a shimmery nude color in the inner corner/tear duct area.

I use black eyeshadow with a liner brush on the lash lines to give it a bigger eye look and so it looks smokey with the black eyeshadow
