Try less product & more wind shield wiper and circular movements , until you get the effect you want then add more product !

I agree with Leighanne. Blending is gonna become your best friend when it comes down to perfecting eye makeup. Use a stiff dome brush to help with blending back and forth and getting that "v" like shape (:
