Hey ladies,

I went to Sephora a couple months ago. I bought a liquid foundation by Sephora. The sales associate helped me pick the right shade according to my face skin tone. It worked back then, but not anymore.
Every time I apply my foundation, my face looks darker than the rest of my neck, chest and shoulders. It makes it obvious where I have foundation and where I don't. I need a lighter shade to match with my skin tone. But... the foundation I bought is about 3/4 full. I haven't used much. What can I do with it? It won't work as a contouring product since it it pretty light, but not light enough for me. Does Sephora has a policy on used and returned products?

Well if it's a couple months old I don't think they would return it. You can make your own concealer with leftover foundation. Just good or youtube it for step by step instructions (:

You can return it. I returned stuff almost empy and ws given a full refund.

They should take it back. They will usually use it as a tester. I've never had a refusal of a return, even a couple months later. I returned an eyeliner 8 months later (I bought 3 at once and didn't open it for 8 months) no receipt, and it was super dried and they returned it, no issues.
I'd go into sephora and try at least.

You should be able to returne it, be carefull when they match you, a lot of the girls that work there don't know what there doing and te lighting at sephora doesn't help either.

Yes! that's what I always thought, Lili! it looks fine in store and then I go out into the daylight and I just want to hide! such awful lighting at my local store. x|

I just returned a foundation that I got in February lol, I had the reciept but no box and they accepted it. They gave me a sephora giftcard for refund :)

Let them match you again, but literally step outside and view it in the sun light. bring a compact with you so you can use a mirror. that goes for ANY store that matches you, not just sephora.
