I have acne prone oily skin, prominent pores, blemishes and somewhat of a rough skin texture. My blemishes aren't too dark and I can get away with medium coverage. Do you think this CC cream is ideal for my skin type? Has anyone tried it before?

I received a sample of this awhile ago and I find the coverage of Smashbox bb cream to be better. The CC was just too light in regards to coverage and it sent my oily/combo skin into production overdrive. Plus it did nothing to diffuse the appearance of my enlarged pores. While their bb does a decent job at diffusing a multitude of skin sins. If you're absolutely curious I suggest getting a sample of it at Sephora just so you can get an idea of what its like.

Thanks for replying Shelley I was on the verge of ordering it from their website. I spoke with a makeup artist that suggested the CC cream for my skin type. But it's always nice to get opinions from other people.

I agree with Shelly, I got a sample too and it just wasn't great. I've used tinted moisturizers that do a better job. I even tried it on my pre tween daughter and it just wasn't a hit. Her hard candy did a better job than smash box. I generally love their stuff, this just happened to be a miss unfortunately. Bb is still light coverage also. If you want more of a medium coverage I'd suggest another product. Bare escentuals is launching their new liquid tonight on Qvc. I'm curious to see it. I have their new buxom liquid now, it's a light-med coverage, but very nice and breathable. You may want to try it. I was pleasantly surprised.

I don't have experience with their CC cream, but I have different skin than you. The BB cream was okay, but too dry for my needs. I ordered IT's CC cream and will let you know how I like it when I get it.
