Hi girlies, happy hearts day! I just received my Real Techniques angled foundation brush in the mail today. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm not sure I want to? It seems a little deformed/smooshed from the packaging, and a little stiff. I want to use it for my liquid foundation. Do any of you have this brush, and use it for liquid? Looking for feedback before I take the plunge and try it out...thanks!

This brush is supposed to be flat, if that is what you mean by "smooshed." It is meant to be a stiffer brush, it is made of synthetic fibers. It is perfectly appropriate for liquid foundation application. I love my RT brushes, I use them in my kit for work as well as in real life for myself. Not the same ones, obviously, lol!

Well usually I love real techniques! I actually use it for blush and bronzers. However it should still work for liquid foundation. The flat top brush is best for liquid foundation but you can make it work for foundation.

Ok good, I'll give it a shot. I guess I was expecting it to be a little more full...I'd prefer a flat top brush, but I can't seem to find one in the stores. Maybe I'll try Ulta next. They have a pretty good selection. Thanks for the feedback!
