So Urban Decay have announced it, the photos have leaked and as always with UD palettes (especially with Naked) there's a lot of hype. What are your opinions and will you be purchasing this palette?

Personally, I do like the matte neutrals from Urban Decay and I've always wished they would put more in the full sized Naked palettes but I would have preferred another darker colour in there instead of one of the highlight shadows. I probably will buy it but I can't say I'm overly excited about it.

I agree would have liked some more medium browns. also could have done without walk of shame. I would have liked to see them bring back yeyo for this palette instead of the new white

I think it's a good size for carrying in your bag but the three shades on the left aren't doing it for me.

An excellent palette, though could use some more browns and neutrals.

Yeah, they should have just included 1 or 2 highlight shades. I'm really surprised half baked isn't in there, just because its included in both of the naked palettes. Plus, all of them look really matte....I would prefer at least one shimmery color. Meh, I'll stick to my Naked 2.

I'm taking a pass on this one. Rikki P. said it best.

Actually, Mally, this palette was created as a reaction to customers asking for a matte neutral palette! So that's why there are no shimmers :P I have no problem with them being all matte but I thought that the colour variation would have been greater! I am interested in Crave though. I think it will look good with my eye colour!

Venus is actually a "demi-matte" shade aka a satin. But I just don't think there's anything in this palette that's interesting enough to get me to purchase it, at least right away. I already own 2 of those colors (Foxy and Walk of Shame) and the rest of them I already have colors that are similar enough.

I think the first naked palette is better! Hands Down!

I'm crazy about this I would prefer buy just something like this instead of Naked 1 and 2.. They should have included Buck!

I too wish there were some mid-tone browns (still matte however), but I'm still interested. I in owning this. I think your opinion of it will differ depending on the eye look you typically go for. This palette may look boring in the pan (think Nars Madly and Douceur), but on the eye it will mimic and/or enhance it's natural shadows, contours, and creases, creating something skin to a typical Angelina Jolie eye look...makes her eyes look larger and more defined, though the untrained eye could not detect much if any eye makeup on her... which is the look I go for on a daily basis, as opposed to a purple smokey eye, for example.

I 100% agree, Emily! That's also the kind of look I go for on a daily basis which is why I am intrigued by this palette even if I am not excited by it!

If I didn't know this was UD when I saw the photo, I would think it just looks like some drugstore palette. Boring! Then again, I'm not one for neutrals, and don't own, (or want to own) any of the Naked palettes, so my opinion may be slightly useless. xD

It's to boring for me I'll stick to saving for naked 2 and enjoying my naked. I would've like to see more colors I don't mind matte at all but more colors would make this palette more worthwhile and possibly even saving up for along with naked 2 and could have given the name naked 3
