Best blue hair dye?

I love my hair blue, but every blue hair dye I've tried comes out within a month. Help!?

What kind of blue are you trying to keep or looking for? My FAVORITE is Special Effects Fish Bowl Blue. I find special effects will last longer than any others I have tried, but I haven't tried too many blues on the market. What are you using and how do you take care of your hair? Wash your hair in cooler water to try to preserve the color and wash it as little as possible. I have also tried Ion's blue colors and I HATED them with a passion. They were very inconsistent and a pain to deal with. I find Manic Panic doesn't last as long as Special Effects even when I have used their amplified formulas. I haven't used a blue by Punky Colors and I haven't had much experience using them compared to Manic Panic or Special Effects but I haven't been disappointed by the results I've gotten from them either. The only thing with Punky Colors is that they have very few colors but I love to mix them with other brands colors to make a unique hue and that has worked for me.

Jerome Russell Punky Colors is my favorite brand of dye. I haven't used any of their blues but I would recommend any of their colors. The tubs are kind of small so if you have long or thick hair you may wanna get multiples. I've never had much luck with blue dye sticking around, although that may have been because I used Manic Panic and their dye doesn't work too well with my hair. Blue is also a hard one to maintain because the yellow of your hair starts to show through and makes things look green. Honestly the best thing for you to do might be going over your color every 2-3 weeks just to touch it up and make it more vibrant. You can also try adding a bit of whatever dye you're using to your conditioner and that way you'll redeposit some color every time you condition.

I'm currently using the Jerome Russell Punky in Turquoise and LOVE IT! It smells so good and lasts quite a while. It took three washes just to fade a tiny bit.
