Okay so I am a little hometown gal from East Tennessee, and I will be taking my first trip to LA on the 20th of September to be a guest on the Dr. Phil show!!
Okay.. I'm in a total delima because I have NOTHING TO WEAR!! And ive been a stay at home mom for the past year so I really don't do my makeup big anymore like I used to! And not to mention I haven't even lifted a curling iron or straightner since I had my daughter! I am in some serious need of advice!!

I think that looks great Stacy! The only thing I suggest is going a little darker on the brown shadow, blush, and maybe a little bit on the lips because those lights tend to drown out some of the color since it's so bright. You look fabulous though!

Darker on the brows? I feel like I look like Ugly Betty or something because I NEVER do anything to my brows besides tweeze/wax them. lol. Darker blush I can deff do. I actually use Laura Gellar bronzer first then put a hot pink blush over top of it. And what color should I do with my lips? I usually just use a clear gloss or chapstick. And should I stick with this shaddow combo or should I play it safe with the brown and eggshell I usually do?

I'm not sure, but I think they usually provide makeup artists for guests on shows like those...
...but if you are going to do your own, I definitely agree w/ darkening everything up a bit. The lighting will wash you out and your features won't show as well on camera. Stay away from metallics/shimmer - it's better you go for matte, since shimmer can translate to "Shiny/sweaty/greasy" on camera. =)

AH! I didn't even think about that! I'm not sure if they do or not though bc I've seen some nasty looking makeup and hair... I hope they do though! I would LOOOOVE that! :) I will call them tomorrow and ask. :P

I'm sure they have makeup and hair artists! You are gorgeous. Just remember that lighting is bright and it will wash out some of the intensity of the makeup. Also keep in mind that HD television really shows all the flaws in the skin etc..BUT don't stress!! You look great.

You don't need to worry about your hair and makeup since they have MUA and hair stylists who will style you that day. Only thing you need to worry about it an outfit and shoes. Make sure to stick to solid colors instead of busy prints, maybe a pair of black or khaki slacks with a simple business top.
