If you have a puss filled break out, you would have to dry it out.
Aspirin (crushed with little water) is great for spot application.
Toothpaste
and lemon juice (constant re application)
hope that helps :)

Honey mixed with cinnamon applied as a spot treatment. It will be gone in a few days :)

Try the Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask ($3-$4 at walgreens and CVS)
And for spot treatment use something with 10% benzoyl peroxide (use lightly bc it is VERY drying)
Also, overall I love cetaphil as a cleanser which helps me overall prevent breakouts.
But the first two things I mentioned are miracle workers!!

Simi...thank goodness no puss, but I haven't had a breakout like this since 9th grade!!! lol

another thing - cortisone. when you go to a derms office with a cystic pimple, they give you a shot of cortisone in the blemish to heal it that day. so, when I have a bad breakout, i apply a little gel cortisone to it with either benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. if you don't have a problem with neopsporin (cream not ointment!) you can use a little bit of that to kill the bacteria.
I am under the care of a derm for my acne (have been for the last 10 years) and I have clear skin everyday with only a minor blackhead or two every so often. I'm not meaning to brag, I say this because I encourage anyone who is struggling with their skin to go to a derm. if this is a one time only thing it's probably not that big a deal but I totally encourage going to the dermatologist for skin problems that are recurrent.

Monica....Thank you for the video it was very interesting!!!
Courtney.....I have never had bad acne, except when I was going through puberty. I dunno what has caused it but it was pretty bad and I was scared that my skin was getting bad at an older age. I am trying to find a good Derm in my area but I haven't had the chance to since I wanna get rid of my "black things" since I only know how to say it in Spanish.....lol!!! I wanna have them all burned off!!! But thank you so much!!!

A clay mask of almost any kind will do the trick!!!! But just for some references the Deep Pore Cleansing Mask by Anthony Logistics for Men is awesome and unisex. A client tried it and was amazed she like you had papules but no pustules and they cleared up within a week.
