Hey guys. I have a question. I´m an NC20 in MAC and wanted to get a MAC Mineralize Skinfinish, so I went to MAC and asked one of the guys that work there what color should I get. I have rosacea so I´m pink all over hahhaha I don´t know what colors they didn´t have, but I know they were out of many. He told me to buy Pearl, and so I did. Now I´m not sure is the right color for me. It looks too dark or weird. What do you guys think, is Pearl right for me? or what color should I have bought? Im soooo pink so I wanted to stay away from the pinks as possible ....
Here is the link on MAC so you guys can see what I mean... the colors are: Semiprecious Crystal Pink, Semiprecious Pearl, Semiprecious Goldstone, Semiprecious Gold Quartz, Gold Deposit, Soft and Gentle...

you wanted a mineralize skinfinish natural powder? if so, i would recommend using the "light" powder. you might even be able to pull off medium. im an NC25 and i use the mineralize skinfinish natural in a medium and it works wonders on my skin. i dont think the guy should have given you pearl.

Pearl? that is weird, because that mineralize skinfinish is for highlight or even a light blush if you mix the two colors, I have it and that's what I use it for. I would look odd if you put it all over your face because it would look all shiny.
For the mineralize skinfinish natural I use it in Light Plus, because the medium is too pink for me, but I think it would be a little darker for you.
You can see some swatches here :) hope it helps!

Laura I never said that I used it all over my face hahahahahha
The thing is Im soooo pink (rosacea) and using this blush or highlight as a blush makes me look too pinky which is what I am avoiding. I wanted a highlight w a little color but not too pink.
Fortunately I found a way of using it and I have to say It´s kinda growing in me hahhahaha i kinda like it now.
I guess I´m looking for a tutorial on how to use it....

oh sorry!! I thought you want it as a foundation or setting powder, my bad!!
Then yeah, Pearl is the one to go... lol I just went looking and swatching them, two are more bronze and the other one is pink. Next to each other, Pearl seems like a light beige.

Im really light, donnu what colour in the mac sysstem but I bought semi precious crystal pink - looooove it! The golden bronzed part might look a bit to dark but you could mix it whit the outside if you want to :) then it probobly will get lighter :)

Crystal pink is too pink for me... remember, I have rosacea so I´m trying to get away from the pink as possible. Thanks though....
